Residential

historic barn reproduction

Our customer wanted to create a guest quarters and garage that blended well with his historic Manor Township property. His inspiration for the project was an 19th century barn he admired in Chester County and it was important to him that the structure be reproduced as authentically as possible. Our mason sourced four different types of stone specific to local geographic areas and we were able to locate and rehab wooden windows with original antique glass. Additionally, we used reclaimed, random-width plank oak flooring for the second floor of the structure. The first floor is a two car garage and the second floor is used as a guest quarters.

Light Commercial

This commercial project was completed in several phases to allow the occupying company to continue operations uninterrupted. The building was originally one of Lancaster’s many historic tobacco warehouses that was converted to office space in the 1980s and was in need of an overall renovation. Over the course of the two year project, some of the highlights of our work included installing a grand staircase in the central portion of the building, a custom chandelier, and a commercial elevator shaft on the exterior of the building. Today, the office space is highly refined while retaining much of the original charm and character of the former warehouse.
